Meet Dr. Olga Mukha

Dr. Olga Mukha offers comprehensive eye care, including routine and medical eye@ exams, contact lens fittings, and diagnosis and monitoring of eye disease. With more than 11 years of experience across the San Francisco Bay Area, she has cared for patients of all ages. Dr. Mukha sees patients on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with same-day and walk-in visits available. Patients with VSP® vision insurance can come in for exams and contact lenses.

Dr. Mukha fits both soft and rigid gas permeable (hard) contact lenses and is a member of the GP Lens Institute. She has worked alongside ophthalmologists for much of her career. She helps care for patients before and after cataract surgery and YAG laser treatment. She also has extensive experience managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and dry eye.

Dr. Mukha performs eye exams in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Doctor of Optometry from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. During her optometry program, she trained at VA medical centers, hospitals, and community health clinics serving uninsured patients.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Mukha volunteers her time providing free eye exams to uninsured patients in the Bay Area and abroad. She is also a wish granter with Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area.
