Meet Dr. Cassandra Tran

Dr. Cassandra Tran is a glaucoma specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical glaucoma care, along with cataract surgery and comprehensive eye care. She firmly believes in shared decision-making and works closely with each patient to build an individualized treatment plan suited to their needs and vision goals.

Dr. Tran is fellowship-trained in glaucoma and has expertise in the latest minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) techniques, including the Omni Surgical System, iTrack microcatheter, iStent, Hydrus Microstent, and Kahook Dual Blade. She has presented her research on glaucoma surgical outcomes at the American Glaucoma Society.

Education and Professional Training

Dr. Tran completed her ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans before completing a glaucoma fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is passionate about education and continues to teach surgery to UCSF ophthalmology residents at the San Francisco General Hospital.
