Dr. Steven Cohen was educated at Cornell University and is a board-certified ophthalmologist, with over 43 years of experience in medical and surgical evaluation and treatment of the eyes. He offers full-service contact lens care, including gas permeable, soft, multifocal, and toric lenses. Dr. Cohen has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide variety of eye conditions, and he teaches in the CPMC Ophthalmology Clinic. Dr. Cohen has published in the field of Neuro-Ophthalmology, and has professional interest in medico-legal evaluations.

Dr. Steven Cohen has been my eye doctor for over 20 years. I refer him to all my friends. He has a very kind and gentle manner about him and that’s what I like. Make an appt. with his office, you will for sure agree with me.

Dr Cohen is incredibly friendly and very knowledgable. I’ve come several times and always been very satisfied with my visit- everything from my annual exam to new glasses and contacts prescriptions. Making appointments has been very easy, as has been getting prescriptions sent to me in order to buy glasses elsewhere. Looks like some of the reviews here are outdated – his secretary is lovely!! Highly recommend. I’ll be back again!
